Watch Indigo Stella's new music video for 'Boss Up.'
Indigo Stella's new music video is perfect. From the shots to the lighting and cinematography, the visuals are a work of virtuosos including director Young Matee and cinematographer Seizmeister, among others.
The visuals shows performance scenes of a triumphant and pompous Indigo Stella. Most of the scenes are shot in low light and have a consistent texture that suits the music they represent.
Indigo Stella released "Boss Up" in March last year, leading up to the release of her stellar EP Indigo, which followed in September. In the song, just like in the rest of the EP, the artist showcases her abilities as a rapper and overall artist. You may not want to sleep on Indigo.
Indigo Stella is currently signed to Mistro Records, the label that released both "Boss Up" and Indigo. The young artist is one of the most promising new voices in South African hip-hop and music in general.
In the new decade, we hope to see her and her counterparts grow into household names that will define an era like the big names who came before them in the previous decades.
