Listen to Focalistic and Emtee’s New Song ‘Klippa’
Focalistic releases 'Klippa' featuring Emtee.
Earlier this week, Focalistic shared a snippet of a song in which he collaborated with Emtee. It was well received, and fans wanted the whole song out.
This morning, the Pitori-based rapper shared the full song. On "Klippa," Emtee and Focalistic drop a verse each, with the latter handling the hook over a trap instrumental.
Emtee has been consistently dropping great verses this year, fresh off his label woes and media attention.
Focalistic is one of the most exciting rappers coming up in South Africa. Repping Pretoria to the fullest, he raps in a combination of English and Pitori slang. His favorite catch phrase is "ase trap ke tes pina tsa ko kasi" (which loosely translates to "it's not trap, it's township music," and is the title of the project he released with Major League earlier this year.
The irony in this case is that the song is indeed a trap song, and features one of the faces of South African trap. Hopefully, it will all make sense in time. In the meantime, get familiar with Focalistic. Revisit Ase Trap Ke tse Pina Tsa Ko Kasihere and stream "Klippa" below and/or download it here.
