Prêt-À-Poundo: Fashion For Peace With FAFA! [11/17]

Festival for African Fashion and Arts (FAFA) will hold its 4th edition on November 17th in Nairobi, Kenya. This event will bring together established and emerging African fashion designers from around the continent. FAFA promotes peace and focuses on the positive aspects of the African continent. It formed as a response to the post-election violence which took place in Kenya in 2008, to encourage fashion, art and music.

Africa will be well represented with Blackbird Jeans, DeepaDosaja, Embody Accessories, Jamhuri Wear,Kaveke, KikoRomeo, Kondakis, Kooroo, Monica Kanari, Riri Jewelery and also winners of FAFA Insight Jamil Walji, Azra Walji, Galina Tatarinova and Ogake Mosomi.

There will also be a number of international designers including Gloria Wavamunno (Uganda), B'Exotic (Ghana), Zekaryas Salomon (Eritrea / UK) and Mudi Africa (Nigeria).
