South African Producer Damascvs Shares The Zombie-Inspired Video For 'Sogan Brashni'
Cape Town-based producer Damascvs of the Quit Safari crew shares the new video for his spacey, percussion-laden single "Sogan Brashni."
Cape Town nativeDamascvs (aka Luca Stefano) shares the otherworldly visuals for his latest track "Sogan Brashni," a sporadic, bass-heavy production marking the producer-emcee's first solo video release. The two-and-a-half minute music video is carried by an assemblage of zombie-like, faux-blood splattered hands eerily fluttering along to the song's infectious jingle. Damascvs describes the self-directed video, shot by photographer Adam Kent Weist, as "a combination of powerful imagery and soul shaking percussion, inspired by the low budget shock imagery of Giallo cinema." The single is being released via Quit Safari, a new music portal from which fellow South Africans Hessien+, Fever Trails, Swishascus, Christian Tiger School and Yes In French will be releasing new tracks.
