Cassper Nyovest Shares Heavenly Visuals for 'Bonginkosi' Featuring Zola 7

Cassper Nyovesthas shared stunning visuals for single "Bonginkosi" featuring Zola 7 from his latest studio album A.M.N.The rapper keeps on his winning prowl with this latest visual escapade.

The visuals for "Bonginkosi" are simply heavenly and calming. Cassper Nyovest and Zola 7 look like two gangsta angels in matching white suits and Nike Air Force Ones. The song is one of thanksgiving, but the two artists give it an edge that no other gospel song has. The video is largely shot in a bare white studio and transitions to visuals of the sea and Black women worshipping in church.

"Bonginkosi" was released in August, and it quickly became a hit with fans. The collaboration with Zola 7 is quite apt considering the kwaito legend's real name is Bonginkosi. Zola 7 has a reputation for being raw and real with his music. He dominated the kwaito scene for several years with his music, and is p working on a new album.

Zola 7's emergence can be likened to American rapper 50 Cent's hip-hop entry. Both artists broke into the industry with real-life bad boy enigma that encapsulated the difficulties of living in the hood or in the case of South Africa, the township. "Bonginkosi" reveals Zola 7 as a new clean being, and die hard fans of his are pleased to see him in this new light.

Cassper, like most, South African hip-hop artists, likes to pay homage to kwaito. He rose to fame with "Doc Shebeleza" his first song to reference the titular kwaito don. A.M.N has been number one on charts for the last four weeks. Singles "Amademoni" and "Good for That" have been certified gold and platinum respectively.
