The second edition of Black Fashion Week organized by designer Adama Paris held in Paris for the first time.
Following Paris Fashion Week, it'll be time to welcome some of the best designers of the African diaspora for the second edition of Black Fashion Week. Organized by designer Adama Paris(who also organized the Dakar Fashion Week, African Fashion Awards and the initital Black Fashion Week Prague), this week will celebrate fashion by revealing the cultural richness of Africa.
Paris, traditionally recognized as the world capital of fashion, is an important step in the development of Black Fashion Week. The week will aim to promote the creation of "black" beyond African borders and compare different aspects of haute couture in big cities. Paris' Black Fashion Week will be hosted amidst the marvelous scenery of Pavillion Cambon, a place dedicated to luxury and fashion located in the heart of the city, close to the famous Place Vendôme and the prestigious luxury Hotel Ritz — Pavillon Cambon is the preferred venue of Chanel fashion shows.
