Wizkid x Future "Everytime"
Wizkidfinally dropped his highly-buzzed about collaboration with Future. The Shizzi-produced "Everytime" is a tad reminiscent of Starboy’s earlier single “Sweet Love,” and it's just as velvety. It was well worth the lengthy wait.
Ibeyi "Me Voy" ft. Mala Rodriguez
French-Cuban twins Ibeyi share the second single from their upcoming album, Ash. In "Me Voy," they connect with Spanish hip-hop artist Mala Rodriguez for their first song entirely sung in Spanish.
Santi "Jungle Fever" ft Odunsi & Genio Bambino
Santi's genre-bending sound has been helping usher in a new Naija music wave. Him and Odunsi's dancehall jam from last year, "Gangsta Fear," was easily one of our favorite songs of 2016. The two artists connect again for the intoxicating "Jungle," which also features Genio Bambino.
Two big features from Tiwa Savage
The 'Queen of Afrobeats' herself, Tiwa Savage, popped up in two big singles. The first sees her link up with Mavin Records resident DJ Big N and Burna Boy for the head-nodder, "Anything." The second is "Pose," another dance floor-aimed single featuring DJ Xclusive.
Ice Prince x Olamide x Mr. Jollof "Owonikoko"
Ice Prince and YBNL head honcho Olamide recruit none-other-than Mr. Jollof for their highly-addictive new track, "Owonikoko."
Stonebwoy "Falling Again" ft. Kojo Funds
Ghanaian reggae-dancehall star Stonebwoy connects with Kojo Funds in the new music video for their joint single "Falling Again." Check out the WOWA-directed clip.
Nezi Momodu Seasons
Nezi Momodu, the Nigerian MC who we've called the queen of freestyles, has just released her 27-track project, Seasons. She describes it as "a journey through the Seasons of my life. Through the turmoil and the discovery, on the journey to self actualization."
TrapFunk&Alivio x Kashaka
Kashaka comes through with a potent blend of baile funk, trap, and afrobeats. "Tropa Do Jogador" is a collaboration with Brazilian collective TrapFunk&Alivio, Bahiano rapper MC Sagat and Nigerian rapper Teekay Tha Newborn.
