We Asked, You Answered: How Old Is Too Old to Get Married?
DIASPORA—In case you missed it, Nigerian musician, Banky W., tied the knot last weekend with his The Wedding Party costar Adesua Etomi.The couple held a dazzling introduction ceremony that attracted much fanfare and Instagram likes.
While folks were generally happy for the couple, some—mostly Nigerian aunties—still had one question for the 36-year-old artist—what took so long? We've sadly all been subject to unwarranted interrogations from old school family members, wondering when we're going to "settle down," so we felt Banky W.'s pain.
We wanted to hear your thoughts on the matter so we posed some questions to our Twitter and Facebook followers: are your ever really too old to get married? And if so, how old is too old?

While many of our Facebook fam simply thought we asked a stupid question with an obvious answer, followers on Twitter engaged slightly more with the subject. The general consensus, however, was the same: you’re never too old to get married and perhaps, maybe, folks should just mind their business and stop asking.
