Ayanda Jiya Shares Visuals for her Chart-Topping Single ‘The Sun’
Watch Ayanda Jiya's new music video for 'The Sun.'
Ayanda Jiya's latest single "The Sun" has been doing well on the charts. The song has been in the top 10 most played songs across all radio stations in South Africa. "The Sun" is from the R&B artist's debut album Ayandastand, which was released in August.
"The Sun" is essentially a motivational song, in which Ayanda encourages her listener to hang in there just a little longer, as hope is near.
She sings in the second verse:
"Sometimes we take the fall/ Thinking that there's nothing left/ But see, you gotta be strong/ Oh cause it's not over yet/ So, when it's misty and blue/ The light will shine through/ You're never alone/ Trust and keep moving on"
In the video, Ayanda gets teleported into a world of hope and joy—she can be seen having dinner with a man she seems fond of, and performing joyfully. The visuals were filmed by Motion Billy in Cape Town.
"The Sun" is the second single from Ayandastand. It followed "Falling For You" which features the rapper A-Reece. Ayandastand is one of the country's strongest releases of 2019 so far, definitely one not to miss.
