Anitah Quansah's Must-Have Jewelry Pieces For S/S 14

With Silhouette of Power, the Quansah's eponymous label unveils a limited edition series of bold, statement neckpieces with minimal details. A designer of Nigerian background, it's hard to miss the diaspora influence in Anitah Quansah's S/S 14 collection — most of the materials used where sourced from Africa and India, including shells, feathers, beads, faceted crystals, semi-precious stones, fabrics and more. The designer told Bella Naija that "this S/S 14 collection of handmade jewelries explores the rich African artistry and craftsmanship [as well as the] rich, powerful, aristocratic glamour and pageantry of the 17th century, characterized by high ruffled collars and bejeweled fabrics worn by Queen Elizabeth I of England." One of the OKA favorite, Anitah Quansah's jewelry is a must-have for Spring/Summer 14.
