Kela Ivonye is the Nigerian founder and CEO of Mail Haven, the app ensuring that mail deliveries no longer go missing or get stolen, through a package tracking device app and "smart mailbox."
In a new video for Samsung Next's "Africa Next" video series, the inventor demonstrates how to use the smart mailbox, and speaks of how growing up in Nigeria and attending boarding school, fostered a spirit of entrepreneurship and determination in him to "get things done" under any circumstance.
The two-time founder and problem solver says that "Mail Haven is going to usher in the next stage of how we experience online shopping, so that we can cut down on emissions that are based on re-delivery attempts."
As a champion for the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative, Ivonye is dedicated to building technology that is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
