Tiwa Savage, Angélique Kidjo and More Share Their Favorite Quotes by African Women for International Women's Day

You've probably gathered, by now, that today is International Women's Day. To mark the momentous occasion, CNN Africa asked a group of influential African women to share their favorite quotes by other African women.

Tiwa Savage and Angélique Kidjo, were amongst the women who shared inspirational words from the likes of Lupita Nyong'o, Chimamanda Adichie, and Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai— who was the most quoted woman, and for good reason, of course.
