Afromania's 'Love Festival' Collection

We'd like to showcase Afromania and the brains behind the label, Nkwo Onwuka. A UK-based Nigerian designer, Onwuka's throwback 2011 Love Festival collection draws inspiration from the 60s with a wink to her African heritage.  Onwuka opted to use fabrics sourced in Africa to mix it up and deliver a stunning collection. The garments enhance a woman's silhouette while being structured — mixing feathers, fringes, as well as both hand-dyed and hand-woven fabrics. There's a clear strong signature in her pieces and what we like the most is that they're totally wearable. You'll stand out wearing these but that's the point, isn't it?
