2manysiblings' Nairobi Thrift Social Returns With Sneaker Edition
By now you should be at least a little familiar with just how stylish the city of Nairobi is. The epicenter of that style is Thrift Social, an art, music and fashion event series from the minds of Velma Rossa and Oliver Asike. The Kenyan sister and brother duo, who together make up 2manysiblings, started the event last year as a platform for creativity and the exploration of art, music and fashion while providing inspiration for innovators in the Nairobi creative industry.
Thrift Social returns this month for the final time in 2016 with a sneaker edition featuring special guest, South African producer Muzi, along with sounds from Cosmic Homies rapper / singer / DJ / producer TAIO, Butchnorman and Mix Master Lenny. Okayafrica is excited to be on board as the official media partner of the event.
Thrift Social 9 goes down the 11th of December, 12pm to 7pm, at Privèe Westlands (1st Floor, Fortis Tower) in Nairobi. Tickets can be purchased in advance here at KES 800 or KES 1000 at the gate. Keep up with @2manysiblings and @thriftsocialnairobi on Instagram.
