NEW YORK CITY—The Urbanworld Film Festival lands in New York City in its 21st year this September, which means it's time for you to submit your best work.
From September 20 to 24, the five-day festival curates and features documentaries, short films, narrative features, as well as the newly added categories: web originals, music videos and animated shorts.
Each year, the Urbanworld Film Festival presents a slate of films representing inclusiveness across stories, characters, themes and cultures to expand the definition of "urban" beyond ethnicity to include sensibility, culture and proximity. Known as "the people's festival" and "the filmmakers festival," they provide a point of intersection where creators and audiences meet to experience bold and diverse artistic works.
