London-based Nigerian Aina More delivers a dance-heavy number in “Afrikan Lady,” a single that follows the success of her anthem “Girls Killing It.”

“Afrikan Lady” sees Aina More crafting another female empowerment track, this time focusing on her own African background. The Benie Macaulay-produced single is driven by an addictive afro-house beat, over which the UK-Nigerian MC rhymes and sings about the strength of African women.

“Afrikan Lady is a very straightforward song about who I am as an Afrikan Woman,” explains Aina More. “In this case, in the images, I chose to embrace my melanin as I believe it's one of the things that heavily account for who I am and I consider it to be true Wealth.”

“Afrikan women today are a variety of many things and I didn't want to portray just the traditional Afrikan woman in these images or in the song. The song overall? Well, this is another one for my Women!”
