BLK JKS drummer Tshepang Ramoba, who recently produced a few synth-heavy tracks for SA singer/designer Moonchild, recently sent us this kwaito mashup of Notorious B.I.G. (who would've turned 42 yesterday). Under his RAMBO production moniker, Tshepang blends Biggie's "Juicy" with a "first generation kwaito song [released near] the end of apartheid" from Vibe Lezinto. The resulting "Brooklyn vs. Soweto (Kwaito Mashup)" revisits the classic track through a distinctly Gauteng lens.
