Joey Le Soldat's Distorted Burkinabé Rap 'D.M.D.'

Joey Le Soldat, one-half of Burkina Faso rap crew Waga 3000 alongside Art Melody, is readying the release of his sophomore full-length Burkin Bâ. "D.M.D.," the DJ Form-produced lead single off the project, is a reverberating-bass attack fronted by Joey Le Soldat's call for justice and change for Ouagadougou's kids — 'the ghetto kids are speaking.' Watch the video below and make sure to hit the closed caption button for lyric translations if you don't follow. Burkin Bâ is due this February via Akwaaba Music/Tentacule Records.
