Not simply a collection of good tracks, Bombino‘s Nomad, produced by Black Keys's Dan Auerbach, transplants its listeners to a wild journey into the depths of an 11-track Saharan desert, barren of everything but psychedelics and soul. A tour guide through his compositions, the Niger guitarist's emotive guitar takes lead as the principle form of direction on Nomad. As such, it doesn’t matter whether or not you speak Tuareg in order to wander inside Bombino's adventurous world.
