AFRICA LATINA Party w/ Chief Boima & Geko Jones

Chief Boima and Geko Jones — two of our favorite selectors who, among other projects, have curated Earbuds mixtapes, hosted Okayafrica Radio, and ran Que Bajo?! parties — will be exploring the many sonic ties between African and Latin American music in their upcoming Africa Latina party at Brooklyn Tap House this Saturday, September 21. The night will be "dedicated to the latest African sounds, and vintage cuts that inspire them... expect Azonto, Afrobeats, Kwaito, Kizomba, Kuduro, Hip Hop, Funana, Semba and much much more." See all info in the flyer, stream a previously featured Africa Latina mixtape and RSVP below. P.S. There's NO COVER. Update: Stream the new Africa Latina mixtape below.
