The Beautyful Ones: Ghanaian Novel Turned Exhibition [Gallery]

'The Beautyful Ones' is the title of new exhibit in Berlin featuring artists that want african art to be exempt from limits.

The Beautyful Ones: Ghanaian Novel Turned Exhibition [Gallery]

The Beautyful Ones, a group artist exhibit recently featured at the Nolan Judin gallery in Berlin, is based on the 1968 novel "The Beautiful Ones are not Yet Born" by Ayi Kwei Armah. The novel recollects a man and his struggle to remain with honor in post-independent Ghana. The exhibit borrowed Armah’s poetic vision of a “utopia of a younger generation for new realities”  through its variety in pieces. The gallery featured artists that work with or come from Southern Africa.
