Okayafrica Presents: The Very Best Live at Gramercy Theater! [8/13]

Okayafrica is bringing together four bands from across the diaspora to play with The Very Best at Gramercy Theater, NYC on August 13. The Very Best (Show moved from Irving Plaza to Gramercy Theatre) — composed of producer Johan Hugo and Malawi singer Esau Mwamwaya — stomped their claim on the scene with 2009's Warm Heart of Africa, which featured contributions from M.I.A. and Vampire Weekend.

The duo is now making waves with their follow-up album MTMTMK, with videos and singles like the Lil' Wayne-spoofing "Yoshua Alikuti," trip inducer "Kondaine ft. Seye," and their collaboration track with  K'naan and Bruno Mars. Catch them live in NYC with Seye, Sinkane, and Bajah and the Dry Eye Crew. We're talking 4 original acts from all over the continent and the diaspora! Check the flyer below for full info and BUY TICKETS HERE!
