Premiere: Sinkane 'Runnin'

If you're familiar with indie rock's elite chances are you've come across Sinkane's work. The solo moniker of Sudanese-born multi-instrumentalist Ahmed Gallab, Sinkane has played with Yeasayer, Ontario electronic outfit Caribou, Athens' psychedelic Of Montreal and Born Ruffians — he also previously cut a solid Africa In Your Earbuds set.

"Runnin" couples upbeat percussion and circular funk melodies with downtrodden falsetto vocals. The single features remixes by Caribou main-man Dan Snaith (as Daphni) and Chandeliers. You can grab the full release as a name-your-price purchase. For more from Sinkane, check out his previously featured astral pop jam. Stream "Runnin" plus remixes below and buy it now!
