We're looking for the brightest writers/bloggers in the NYC area to come aboard our team this winter 2013/14. To apply for Okayafrica's editorial internship send 2-3 writing samples and a resume to interns@okayafrica.com. Please indicate what editorial field most interests you (music, fashion, visual arts, politics, etc).

-Must be NYC-based and able to make the commute to our Brooklyn office

-Have a strong background in writing

-Wordpress/blogging experience is a plus!

-Love for music, art, & culture from around Africa and the diaspora is highly encouraged

-The internship is unpaid

-You'll have the opportunity to attend shows, art openings, film screenings + more sweet events
