Adekunle Gold has lifted our spirits by dropping his new single, "Before You Wake Up" today. The Nigerian crooner continues to flex his toasting skills, taking the straightforward, Sess-produced track to sweep his love off her feet.

"I know you need a holiday," he sings, opening the song. "Let's go away for 6 months—twice in a year."

We're sold. Who wouldn't want to get flewed out for a year-long vacation?!

"Before You Wake Up" falls in line with AG's fresh and bright pop sound where he's holds nothing back. He finds comfort in being vulnerable (and albeit, corny)—expressing how he has fallen in love, how big it is and what he'll do as a result. Which is none other than give her the world.

Listen in and watch the lyric video for "Before You Wake Up," animated by Anietie Brendan, below.
