Every once in a while a hashtag surfaces that hilariously captures our experiences as Africans, from overly strict parents "coming for our lives" to unwarranted questions about marriage—there are some things that we can all relate to.


To our delight, earlier today, African Twitter was submerged with memes describing common everyday occurrences that many of us have most likely experienced at one point or another.

We're not sure who started the thread or why, but it sure has us in stitches.
