Mother Africa (1977) is the second reissued long-player from Yoruba priestesses, identical twins and Fela Kuti cousins The Lijadu Sisters — one of the few female acts to make it to the forefront of the 1970s Nigerian scene. Album cut "Dibe Nuwa" couples an upbeat acoustic progression with Yoruba singing which breaks into a fuzz guitar solo midway through. Stream and download the track below.
