Bonang Matheba Bagged the Top Prize at the Global Social Awards
Queen B promises to keep her foot firmly on our necks this entire year.
South African television personality and entrepreneur,Bonang Matheba, took home the Inspiration & Influence award at the Global Social Awards held in Prague, Czech Republic last night.
Undoubtedly one of South Africa's finest, it's unsurprising that when it came down to it, Bonang beat Morocco's Rawaa Beauty for the prize. Taking to the stage in impeccable style as always, Bonang rehashed how important it is for all those who have considerable influence to use it for what really matters in their individual countries.
Bonang continued her acceptance speech, saying:
"I would like to say to all the influencers who are here. If you are on a platform to influence and inspire, make sure you use it in a positive way. Make sure you light people's lives and make sure you use your social platforms to talk about things that are important around you, in your country."
Of course, Bonang thanked South Africa and everyone who had been rooting for her to bring home the big win. South Africans on social media have been congratulating Queen B since she announced the news.
