Black Coffee Lists His Top 5 African Music Videos [Exclusive]

SA producer/DJ Black Coffee lists his five favorite African music videos.

South African star DJ/Producer Black Coffee has been acting as a SA house music ambassador of sorts, playing Central Park's SummerStage in NYC earlier this summer and recently highlighting his creative process and recreating one of his songs for a global Ballantine's Human Orchestra feature — a captivating video piece in which he reworks his Soulstar-featuring hit "Rock My World" with an acapella ensemble. In light of those recent ventures, we asked Black Coffee to list his favorite contemporary African music videos. The DJ's list didn't disappoint, check out Black Coffee's picks and descriptions of each clip below:

Mi Casa "Turn You On"

One of South Africa's biggest bands....I love the video concept as it’s different from a typical house music video.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Davido "Skelewu"

One of Nigeria's biggest artist... I love this tune and the video too.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

D'banj "Oliver Twist"

Africa's biggest artist and currently signed to Kanye West's Good Music label. It doesn’t get better than this.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Mafikizolo "Khona"

Again, one of South Africa's biggest, if not the biggest, band… they've been doing this for a while now and they understand their sound well.

P-Square "Personally"

They do amazing work on the videos...always well-choreographed with attention to every detail.
