Analog Africa's 'Afrobeat Airways 2: Return Flight To Ghana 1974-1983'

Analog Africa recently dropped word of the second installment of their compilation series, Afrobeat Airways 2: Return Flight to Ghana 1974-1983, set to release sometime in September. This soulful compilation boasts 13 rare "tropical sounds heavily influenced by highlife" from the likes of Ebo Taylor Jr. to K. Frimpong and more obscure artists. Excavated from Ghanaian soils and re-introduced to the world, these tunes showcase a highlife sound that still move feet some forty years later. Check out the 'cloud below for a preview of one of the songs off the Analog Africa Afrobeat Airways 2 compilation.
