Prêt-À-Poundo: Africa Fashion Day Berlin Is Born to celebrate African Fashion!

A timely emergence of talented African designers has been the catalyst of a new African fashion; "African Fashion Weeks" are becoming widely known as they spread throughout the world. African Fashion Day Berlin, a(nother) new event, will be held for the first time in January. AFDB will present "Urban Fashion Night" as part of the official program of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin of Autumn/Winter 2013. The goal of the event is to create a platform for African, Afro-Caribbean and African American living in Europe — striving to craft a link between the fashion industry in individual European countries and African nations. It is great to see the emergence of African fashion continuing.

WHEN: January 15th. 2013-7PM

WHERE: Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Unter den Linden 77, 10117 Berlin
