Okayafrica TV Talks Gender Equality at Nigeria’s Gidi Culture Festival

The third annual Gidi Culture Festival brought together some of the biggest names in Nigerian and South African music for an all-day blowout bash in Lagos, and Okayafrica TV was present to capture all of its magic.

Follow us above as our day’s host Yagazie Emezi makes her way across Lagos’ Eko Atlantic, chatting with the likes of K.O, Ladi Poe, Young Gracie, Rachel Kerr, Asa, Ozzy Agu, Samson Adamu and more.

We took the opportunity to ask artists how they felt about Nigeria’s gender equality bill, which was controversially voted down due to religious beliefs.
