Owuor Arunga x Dadabass 'Black As They Come'

Kenyan "Dizzy Gillespie of hip-hop" Owuor Arunga is arguably the most important trumpeter in the rap game today. As pied piper to the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Heist tour, the Kisumu-born/Seattle-based jazz cat offered his expert pipes to what may go down as the most important song of this generation. Somehow between trotting the globe as orchestral leader of the year's success story, joining Macklemore in impromptu jazz sessions, and historic camel joyrides, superjazzman Owuor found time to record his first single. Just in time for the holidays comes ferocious family affair "Black As They Come," which sees the elder Arunga join forces with MC sister, the hard-spitting Dadabass (Geneiva Arunga). The diasporic homage also features the vocals of Seattle soulstress Felicia Loud. "Black As They Come" is available now via Arunga Music.
