Horizon Unlimited (1979) is the fourth and final reissue from Yoruba priestesses and Fela Kuti cousins The Lijadu Sisters. Identical twins Taiwo and Kehinde were one of the few female acts to make it to the forefront of the Nigerian music scene in 70s; they rose from background singing gigs to eventually playing with Ginger Baker (Cream, Africa 70) and being popular features in US/UK music programs. Download the funk guitar album cut "Orere-Elejigbo" below and grab Horizon Unlimited, as well as the three previous Lijadu Sisters reisues, from Knitting Factory Records.
